You come for the fish and you get an island with sand streets and mosquitoes. Both are the trip. It's only worth the travel if you've got two nights on the island — a same-day raid from Cancún is a windshield with a swim attached.
What a Tour Day Looks Like
- 6:30 AM — operator pickup at your Holbox hotel

- 9:00–12:00 PM — in-water rotations, two swimmers plus a guide per shark, 3 meters off, no flash, no touching
- 12:30 PM — ceviche lunch and a snorkel stop if conditions allow
